Workday allows users to schedule reports. Users may only schedule reports in accordance with this policy.
- A user can schedule a report to run. It is delivered only to the user who schedules the report.
- A user’s security role determines which reports are available to schedule and what data appear.
- The Workday Operations team at any time can review, cancel, or modify a user’s scheduled report(s) to comply with University or Workday policies, mitigate Workday performance issues, or address Workday-related or school or center concerns.
- When scheduling reports, the user should consider the following guidelines:
- The user should schedule recurring reports when the results will be accessed for use.
- All scheduled reports should have an end date, which means the user will have to periodically extend the end date of the scheduled reports. The best practice is to end all scheduled reports on the same date such as July 1, so they can be reviewed at the same time.
- The Workday Operations team is responsible for auditing reports that are scheduled.
